Planning Your Wedding Day!

 

There’s no day more special in a man and woman’s life than their wedding day.  There’s no better place to prepare for that day than Luminous Salon and Spa.  Enjoy a selection of relaxing and beautiful services specially designed for the bride, the groom, their wedding party and their mothers.  Just call and speak to one of our bridal consultant and she will take care of everything.  In preparation for your wedding day, we recommend the following schedule:

 

~Nine Months Before

Use an intensive conditioner once a week, wrapping your hair in a warm towel.  It works great.

~Six Months Before

Start thinking about the look you want on the big day.  Don’t go for a radical restyle.  Instead concentrate on perfecting your usual look.  Book your stylist for the big day.

~Three Months Before

Try a temporary color-enhancing dye for extra shine.  It would be a great idea to start looking at hair jewelry and flower accents.  This is the best time to begin a facial treatment program.(treatments every 4 to 6 weeks)

~Two Months Before

Have a trial run with your stylist and try out a few styles so you can see what you feel most comfortable with.  Tell the stylist whether you will be wearing a veil, tiara or flowers in your hair so they can take this into consideration when they’re designing your style.  Begin a regular manicure/pedicure program (treatment every other week).

~One Month Before

Makeup trial run.  Appointment is recommended with hairpiece.

~Two Weeks Before

Facial and a Haircut

~One Week Before

Pedicure, Brow tint, Hair coloring, Lash tint, Waxing (lip, brow, under arm, leg, bikini, arm), Haircuts for men in bridal party.

~One of Two Days before

Manicures/Pedicures for bride & groom.

~Wedding Day

Makeup application, Bridal up-do, wedding party up-do and wedding party makeup.
